Canadian Rockies by RV: 12 days from Calgary

A loop through five national parks – from and back to Calgary, where Fraserway, CanaDream and Cruise Canada have stations. Banff with Lake Minnewanka and Johnston Canyon, Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, the waterfalls of Yoho National Park, then along the Icefields Parkway with Peyto Lake and the Athabasca Glacier to Jasper. On to Mount Robson and Helmcken Falls in Wells Gray Provincial Park, back via Revelstoke, Rogers Pass and Kootenay National Park.

A round trip avoids the high one-way fee to Vancouver. Two long driving days (about 400 km) lead via Wells Gray to Revelstoke. Book Parks Canada campgrounds early; the annual Discovery Pass covers the national parks. Best from mid-June to mid-September.
