Gut zu wissen
- Gabelflug: In einer Stadt ankommen, aus einer anderen zurückfliegen spart die Rückfahrt – im Planer zum Beispiel „Florida ab MCO bis MIA“.
- Mietwagen: Am Flughafen ist es am bequemsten, wegen der Flughafengebühren aber oft teurer als in der Stadt. Eine Einwegmiete kostet meist Aufpreis.
- Im Planer: Der IATA-Code genügt – „Texas ab DFW bis IAH“ oder „Flughafen Orlando“.
- Umsteigen: Die Einreisekontrolle ist am ersten Flughafen in den USA. Dort holt man das Gepäck ab und gibt es neu auf – für den Anschlussflug genug Zeit einplanen.
